02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is a church which operates under the umbrella of the national Church of Scotland. The church works (in partnership with other congregations) to glorify God and to enable the advancement of Christ's Kingdom throughout the world. Our local function is to provide a place of worship for all attendees whether from the immediate parish area or from other parts of Scotland and beyond. As well as regular meetings for worship we employ a wide variety of activities which are reaching out into the community and overseas. A current list of these are described in our Annual Reports.
