Constitutional objectives
The Charities which I wish to benefit from the Trust are as follows:- (One) The Dumfries and Kirkcudbright Mission to the Deaf and Dumb (Two) The Dumfries Boys Home, (Three) The Cheshire Home, Carnsalloch, Dumfries, (Four) Doctor Barnardo’s (Scottish Branch), (Five) The Stewart Home, Cove, Kilcreggan, for mentally handicapped children, (Six) Chruch of Scotland Eventide Home, Devorgilla House, Dumfries, (Seven) Thistle Lodge, Number Sixty-two, Dumfries Benevolent Fund, (Eight) The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, (Dumfries Branch), (Nine) The Royal Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, (Dumfries Branch) and (Ten) The Mission to the Outdoor Blind, Dumfries, with power to me to add to the number of these Charities at any time... The funds forming the Trust Estate shall be held, subject as hereinafter provided, for the above named Charities and any others which I may add to the Trust, the whole being hereinafter referred to as 'the beneficiaries'.
