02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The principal objectives and activities of the Presbytery and its congregations are the public worship of God and the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world. The presbytery's doctrinal basis in this is that it believes the Holy Scriptures, in their entirety, to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. and it accepts the Westminster Confession of Faith as approved by former General Assemblies of the Church of Scotland and the Free Church of Scotland as its subordinate standard.
