02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The trustees shall annually disburse in equal shares the free revenue to be derived from the Trust Estate as brought out in the annual Account between and amongst the Charitable Institutions hereinafter referred to and the receipt of the Treasurer of the Charitable Institutions shall be a sufficient discharge to the Trustees therefor (FOURTH) the Trustees shall divide the free revenue to be derived from the Trust Estate as aforesaid equally between and amongst the following specific Charitable Institutions (One) THE VIEWPOINT HOUSING ASSOCIATION, (Two) THE ABBEYFIELD SOCIETY FOR SCOTLAND, (Three) THE ROYAL SOCIETY FOR RELIEF OF INDIGENT GENTLEWOMAN OF SCOTLAND, (Four) ARTHRTIS RESEARCH UK, (Five) THISTLE FOUNDATION, (Six), NATIONAL TRUST FOR SCOTLAND, (Seven) CAPABILITY SCOTLAND, (Eight) SAILORS' SOCIETY, (Nine) MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY.

And I direct the Trustees, subject to the provisions hereinafter contained shall hold the Trust Estate in trust for the following purposes...
