02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our purpose is to advance the Christian faith. We provide a facility for members of the local community where they can meet. Historically, as a church, and for over 25 years we provided a voluntary Childcare Group, which developed into full time provision of childcare by Coconut Corner Childcare Centre (SC038558) from 2008 to 2019. And the facilities are now used full time by Baillieston Community Church / Hope Community Church Barlanark (SC042804).

Constitutional objectives

The Church is a fellowship of those who have put their personal trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour. We emphasize Bible-centred teaching and Christian living as the natural result of individual commitment to Christ. Our main goal is to glorify God together and our services provide an opportunity for individual expressions of praise and worship.
