Constitutional objectives
I direct my Trustees to set aside and invest in their own names the whole residue of my estate and to pay the annual income therefrom (one) to Dr. Bernardo’s Homes, Five Alva Street, Edinburgh (two) to the Royal Blind Asylum and School, Edinburgh (three) to the Royal Cancer Hospital, One hundred and twenty three Hill Street, Glasgow (four) to the Shipwrecked Fisherman and Mariners Royal Benevolent Society (five) to the Royal Scottish Lifeboat Institution (six) to the Salvation Army Scottish Headquarters and (seven) to the Research Fund held or administered by the physician in charge of the Diabetic Department of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to support studies and investigations being conducted by the Department.
