What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to maintain and provide the facilities of Kirkmichael Parish Hall to the local community. This year, the charity has carried out repairs to doors and renovated the front porch. The hall was made available for use by third parties.

Constitutional objectives
The said subjects and buildings erected thereon, hereinafter referred to as 'the trust subjects' are dedicated and shall be held by the said Trustees and the successors of said Trustees in all time coming for the purposes of physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreation and entertainments or otherwise may be found expedient for the inhabitants of Kirkmichael in the County of Dumfries and its immediate vicinity, without distinction of sex or of political or other opinions, subject to the provision of these presents.
