02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To provide Christian worship and to care for spiritual and pastoral needs of its members, adherents and anyone in the community who need help and support. To support charitable work monies are raised through fund raising activities and donations from church members according to their means. Monthly praise services are held in the local Care Home for residents. Monthly joint services are held with Lindores Parish Church. We have a Book Club within the church and anyone is welcome to join if they so wish. From January until September we fill Shoe Boxes for Blythswood, these are collected in early November for distribution abroad. Money donated from the serving of tea and coffee after Sunday worship is donated to various charities.
