What the charity exists to do
Early Years Scotland is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing high-quality early learning and childcare experiences for young children and their families. We are committed to ensuring that every child in Scotland has the best possible start in life, promoting strong family relationships and supporting parents and caregivers through a range of innovative programmes and services. We operate across Scotland, delivering a wide array of services that support early childhood development and family engagement. Our programmes include Stay Play and Learn sessions, family support in prisons, and advocacy for early years policies. With a robust network of partners and a dedicated team of professionals, Early Years Scotland has established itself as a credible and influential charitable organisation in the early learning and childcare sector.

Constitutional objectives
To promote and improve the educational, physical, social, emotional development and well-being of all children but with an emphasis on those aged 0-5, to work with the parents and families of these children, and other appropriate persons by demonstrating the benefits and importance of rich learning, communication and play experiences. to promote a two generational approach to enhance outcomes for children through prevention and early intervention. to study the needs of children and their families and to stimulate interest, influence policy and educate the public in this and other related educational and social fields to offer training opportunities and support and development of skills in the Early Years Workforce
