02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
PLUS Forth Valley supports children, young people, adults and families living with disabilities and additional support needs across the Forth Valley area to improve wellbeing, inclusion and life opportunities. We provide practical and emotional family support, short breaks and activities, and individual and group support for children, young people and adults. Our work reduces isolation, builds confidence and helps families cope with the challenges they face. We take a person-centred approach, working with families to understand their needs and deliver flexible, responsive support. We work in partnership with local authorities, health services, schools and community organisations to improve access to services and ensure families receive support at the right time. By listening to families and amplifying their voices, we promote equality, inclusion and positive outcomes.
