02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our vision: A future where everyone in Scotland has positive mental health and wellbeing and can access high-quality, compassionate support if, when and how they need it. We work locally across Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Scottish Borders, and nationally through our digital resources, Scottish Wellbeing, and our roles within the Scottish Veterans Wellbeing Alliance and the In Care Survivors Alliance. Through our unique pathway of support, collaborations and campaigns, we help people move forward in their lives. Our purpose: To support people to build hope, resilience and understanding of their mental health and wellbeing. We do this by offering a range of trauma-skilled, rights-based and person-centred services that meet people where they are- online, by phone or in person.
