What the charity exists to do
The charity was set up to promote and encourage education and knowledge of underdevelopment with a view to the relief of poverty, in particular through fair trade. Limited resources have hindered this in recent years, and the charity is therefore in the process of being dissolved (to which OSCR's consent has been obtained).

Constitutional objectives
To promote and encourage, either on its own or in conjunction with others, education and knowledge of underdevelopment in all or any parts of the world with a view to the relief of poverty and distress particularly, but without prejudice to the foregoing generality, in relation to the coffee trade by all means including the researching and collecting of information or the making of grants or bursaries for the same, the production and distribution of educational materials and literature, the holding of public meetings or otherwise.
