02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Trust's purposes as stated in the original Trust Deed are the relief of poverty, destitution, financial hardship, misery, neglect, suffering, disease, sickness or infirmity. In recent years the Trustees have focussed on the issues of sex and race inequality. Their strategy is to make a number of donations, agreed at meetings twice a year, with the intention of strengthening the infrastructure of organisations committed to challenging racial and sexual inequality and making them more resilient.
