To assist needy families and dependants of patients in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, the City Hospital, the royal Hospital for Sick Children, and such other hospitals in Edinburgh as the Council may from time to time decide. to grant specific sums of money for hospitals or on leaving, including grants for travelling expenses for members of families visiting or accompanying patients.
