What the charity exists to do
To provide young people and adults the opportunities to play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument in a wind ensemble setting, to learn new music techniques and ensemble playing, and to provide concerts to the community to showcase this work.

Constitutional objectives
The purposes of the Trust are, so far and so far only as the same are legally charitable, a) to provide facilities to enable young people in or around the district formerly known as Dunbartonshire to learn, practice, obtain tuition in and appreciate the skills of music and generally to promote musical education and appreciation of music. b) to provide and assist in the provision of facilities, whether by way of musical instruments, music, professional tuition, places for meetings, discussions, rehearsals or otherwise for all or any of the foregoing activities. c) to assist in any way the said young people to develop their musical skills and talents to the full. d) to assist and co-operate with any other body or organization, voluntary or otherwise, having similar or complementary purposes. e) to raise funds for all or any of the foregoing purposes and f) to do such other things as in the opinion of the Trustees are necessary or desirable to further any or all of the foregoing purposes.
