02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
SEAG is a community transport charity based in Edinburgh that provides safe, reliable, and specially equipped transport using accessible vehicles to support young people, adults, and older people with disabilities, limited mobility, or additional support needs who face mobility challenges or social exclusion. Our services enable individuals to access healthcare appointments, education, training, employment, social activities, and essential community services. Our vehicles are operated by trained staff who prioritise safety, dignity, and personal support. By removing transport barriers, SEAG helps reduce isolation, supports independence, and ensures people of all ages across Edinburgh can remain active, connected, and included in everyday life.
