What the charity exists to do
The Aberdeen Unitarian Church belongs to a group of Churches, which maintains freedom of thought in religion. The Church building is held for the purpose of public worship. The Services are open and do not necessarily conform to any fixed format. The Congregation is described in its constitution as a “non-subscribing Congregation” which means it is a Congregation, which deliberately abstains from formulating or insisting upon any creed or statement of belief.

Constitutional objectives
a.. to provide services of public worship based upon a non-creedal liberal approach to religion. b. to encourage the education of its members in spiritual and personal growth, and in Unitarian principles. c. to promote the spread of Unitarian ideas and principles in the Aberdeen area. d. to encourage social responsibility in members of the congregation. e. to link members of the congregation with the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches, and other national and international bodies.
