What the charity exists to do
The volunteer committee and trustees maintain Echt Hall so that it continues to be heart of the community for Echt village and the surrounding area, as it has done since 1928. As a committee we ensure Echt Hall is a safe and welcoming place for groups, organisations and members of the community to meet and socialise. We continue to action repairs externally and internally when required employing appropriate persons. regular cleaning. maintenance checks such as kitchen equipment, heating and fire extinguishers are undertaken by professionals to ensure meeting health and safety standards. Echt Hall is a source of resilience for the community to provide heat and light when power fails such as during Storm Arwen (2021).
