Constitutional objectives

The Trust Funds to be utilised for the benefit of persons resident within the Inverness Area of the Highland Council Area. (a) To pay to any person part or the whole cost of a period of residence in any hospital, nursing home, sanatorium or similar institution in Great Britain or abroad including the cost of treatment there and also part or the whole of other expenses incidental thereto provided that the admission of the said person to such an institution is certified by a qualified medical practitioner as advisable in the interest of the health of that person and the Trustees are satisfied that the said person is unable otherwise to meet the expense involved. (b) To pay to any person certified by a qualified medical practitioner as being either threatened by illness or convalescent and consequently as being in need of treatment and/or a holiday and rest, part or the whole cost of such treatment and/or holiday and rest including travelling expenses provided that the trustees are satisfied that the said person is unable otherwise to meet the expense involved. (c) To pay for behoof of any person part or the whole cost of any food and or clothing and/or invalid requisites as recommended by a qualified medical practitioner with a view to preventing, curing or alleviating the mental or bodily illness of such person provided that the trustees are satisfied that the said person is unable otherwise to meet the expense involved
