What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to relieve financial hardship. It achieves this through the payment of grants to those in need. It also sets out to encourage education in the Craft's traditional activities. It achieves this through the awarding of prizes to top apprentice butchers. It also sets out to improve the lives of the people of Glasgow. It achieves this through making grants to service providing charities in the Glasgow area.
