02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The association has continued throughout the year to provide advice on matters of paediatric pathology to the Royal College of Pathologists and to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. It has also supplied speakers to various scientific meetings on matters of paediatric pathology. The association has also been a vehicle for the dissemination of information to all members of the Paediatric Pathology Society. The association also supports and its members present in the Paediatric Pathology Training Days that provide training and education to specialist and general histopathology trainees in the UK.
