02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Supporting mathematics in Scotland. We do this by funding mathematical activity across the whole of Scotland, and across all levels: from a £15k grant to support Maths Week Scotland, to various grants supporting school teachers, to grants that support research activity and conferences.

Constitutional objectives
The Trustees shall hold the Trust Funds as defined hereinafter for the encouragement and promotion of mathematical scholarship and research and in particular but without prejudice to the generality to publish, sell, donate and exchange books, journals, papers and information in electronic and other formats relating to the study of mathematics and to hold conferences relative thereto.
