What the charity exists to do

To advance, promote and encourage generally the study and performance of the art of traditional music in Scotland by means of organising and financing an annual music festival in Skye. The festival is open to all individuals under the age of eighteen who are resident in the district of Skye and Lochalsh or have local connections.

Constitutional objectives

To advance, promote and encourage generally the study and performance of the art of traditional music in Scotland by means of organising and financing an annual music in Scotland by means of organising and financing an annual musical festival in Skye, individual competitions in which festival shall be open to young people of either sex under the age of eighteen years who are resident in the District of Skye and Lochalsh or who have such other local connections as the said Trustees may consider to constitute a suitable qualification for entrance.
