Constitutional objectives

3.1 The education of the public in the breeding and showing of horses and ponies including the holding of shows for the exhibition of horses and ponies and all other matters connected with or pertaining to the breeding and showing of horses and ponies (including the holding of a National Stallion Show). 3.2 The improvement of the breeding and showing of horses and ponies including promoting discussion, advancement of knowledge of horses and ponies and activities relating thereto to the general public. 3.3 Such other activities connected with improvement, assistance, promotion and education of the breeding and showing of horses and ponies as may be approved of from time to time by the members. 3.4 To purchase, sell, lease, hire, take in exchange, dispose of or licence, improve, manage, exploit, develop or otherwise deal in any manner or way property and rights for the purposes of the Society. 3, To borrow money and give security for the payment of money by, or the performance of other obligations of, the Society or any other person. I 3.6 To draw, make, accept, endorse, discount, negotiate, execute and issue cheques, promissory notes, bills of exchange, bills of lading, warrants, debentures and other negotiable or transferable instruments. 3.7 To promote legislation of any kind to enable the Society to carry out its objects, and achieve any other purpose which may promote the Society's interests, and charitable purposes and to oppose or object to any application or proceedings which may prejudice the Society's interests or charitable purposes. 3.8 To enter into any arrangement with any organisation, government or authority which may be advantageous for the purpose of the activities of the Society to obtain from any such organisation, government or authority any charter, right, privilege or concession. 3.9 To enter into partnership or any other arrangement for sharing profit, cooperation or mutual assistance with any charitable or benevolent
