What the charity exists to do

Blainslie Under 5s Group supports families weekly by running playgroup sessions where children and their parents/carers can attend friendly and informal play sessions run by volunteers. Healthy snack is provided and the adults can have refreshments whilst building relationships and forming friendships with other parents in the community.

Constitutional objectives

The aim of the Playgroup is to promote the aim of the Scottish Pre-School Playgroups Association, which is to advance the education of pre-school children, so that they may take a constructive place in the community, and also the education of their parents.
