(a) The care of the Cathedral and its preservation for posterity (b) The adornment and furnishing of the Cathedral (c) The installation of stained glass windows of worthy quality (d) The safeguarding of the amenity of the Cathedral and the beautifying of its surroundings (e) The encouragement of research into the history of the Cathedral, and the giving of grants in aid of the publication of approved monographs in connection with the Cathedral (f) Generally, the support of any object connected with or incidental to the care and improvement of the Cathedral, whether within the scope of the foregoing objects or any of them or otherwise, which shall have the approval of the Council of the Society. always subject to the approval of the Crown and the Kirk-Session (g) The institution of a Capital Fund for all or any of the foregoing objects
