The charity owns the assets of The Fullarton in Castle Douglas, and through its subsidiary company operates the venue as a community theatre and cinema. It is managed and staffed entirely by volunteers.

4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To advance the arts through the provision of a community theatre, and in particular by providing plays, dramas, comedies, operas, operettas, burlesques, broadcasts, musical performances, puppet shows, ballets, concerts, recitals, cinema films, exhibitions and entertainments 4.2 To provide recreational facilities within The Fullarton building for educational and leisure time activities with the object of improving the conditions of life of, and available to, members of the public.
