02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. This is achieved by the running of various groups across the Region with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts aged 6 to 16 attending. We also operate an active outdoor centre at Lapwing Lodge offering activities to a variety of user groups.
