Luing Cattle Society

Constitutional objectives

(a) To promote, maintain and advance the Luing Breed of Cattle so that it may always serve a useful purpose as a beef breed. (b) To collect, verify and publish the pedigrees and records of the breed. (c) To establish and maintain a Herd Book in which to register the Pedigrees. (d) To receive subscriptions and payments to enable the Society to perform the above functions. (e) Subject to the provisions of Section 14 of The Companies Act. 1948, so far as applicable, to purchase, take on feu or lease or otherwise acquire and hold or occupy heritable and moveable property, and to erect, enlarge, alter or improve and maintain or demolish and rebuild any buildings which may be required for the purposes of the Society. (f) To grant feus of or let all or any of the lands and buildings belonging to the Society, and not required for the purposes of the Society, or to sell and convey the same by public roup or private bargain.
