02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity was set up to provide a fit for purpose facility for the local community at an affordable price. The hall is rented from the Aberdeenshire Council who are trying to keep it wind and water tight, not always easy and the committee are responsible for the internals,we clean paint and maintain the inside of the hall and we are responsible also for the car park.

(b) to look after the general well-being of the building and grounds on behalf of the Community and the Owners - Gordon District Council and to seek all reasonable assistance from the Council to achieve these ends. (c) to organise fund raising activities considered necessary and social functions deemed by the Committee to be beneficial to the Community as a whole.
