What the charity exists to do

The Church aims to be an active centre of worship for the local community. St Nicholas, Sighthill Parish Church of Scotland is located in Southwest Edinburgh. It covers four main areas: Bankhead (Sighthill Industrial Area), Sighthill, Parkhead and the Calders. It is an area of mixed residential and industrial use. It is home for people from many nationalities, ethnic groups and other demographic compositions. We serve our community as a local parish church and as a community hub. Our buildings are used by different groups and for social gathering in the community.
