02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The objectives of Seabank House are to provide support and assistance for our client group which is comprised of people who are suffering from mental health problems. The net effect of our service is to greatly improve the lived experience of our service users, and this comes in the form of a residential service. This is done through working with residents to develop practical skills, offering support and guidance and encouraging constructive use of free time including through undertaking various activities.

Constitutional objectives
(1) To provide residential accommodation and rehabilitation for persons who have been suffering from mental illness and who, if in hospital, could be discharged therefrom if such accommodation were available, or who, though not in hospital, are in need of care or of such accommodation, provided always that such persons are referred to the Company by some responsible body or person. (2) To engage in such other charitable work as the Company may determine from time to time.
