Constitutional objectives

(a) To maintain, manage and administer the building consisting of the Hall and ancillary accommodation known as 'The Skeabost Memorial Hall' as a Community and Social Centre for the welfare of the residents of SKEABOST AND DISTRICT and its environs in the Island of Skye and as a Memorial to the men of this district who gave their lives in the Second World War, in consultation with the Local Authorities, Community Council and such other local bodies or associations as it may from time to time be appropriate to consult. (b) To make such building available for educational, cultural, social and recreational activities of a community nature, and as a meeting-place for the local people, without restriction or discrimination of any kind on religious, political or other grounds. And (c) To apply such funds, both capital and income, as may become available to the Association from time to time, in the maintenance of and improvements of the said building and its facilities, and for such other purposes consonant with the foregoing objects, as shall be deemed by law to be charitable.
