02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The object of the Church is to know the Lord Jesus Christ through His Word and to make Him better known through the preaching and teaching of His Word. Our mission statement is: “Together on a mission to make and grow disciples of Jesus Christ, seeing lives changed around our doors, in our city, across our nation, and over God’s world.” We meet for two Sunday services, a midweek prayer meeting, and small groups across the city. We also run midweek clubs for children and youth on our premises. Our Cross-Cultural Workers provide practical and spiritual support to asylum seekers, refugees, and international students, building meaningful relationships across cultures. We actively serve our local community through: - A free weekly community meal - A weekly after-school club at local primary school - Weekly youth groups for all ages - Weekly English Language Classes for beginners and intermediate learners.
