What the charity exists to do
Fife Shopmobility us a non-profit distributing company which aims to alleviate isolation and distress amongst people with physical, sensory or mental impairment and to promote their education, welfare and treatment and in particular, but without prejudice to the foregoing generality throughout Fife. The company's principle objects are a) The prevention or relief of isolation through the provision of loan or hire of electrically powered wheel chairs, scooters, manual wheel chairs or other aids to people who have sensory impairments or limited mobility with the object of improving quality of life. b) The advancement through participation and inclusion for the persons for whom mobility aids are primarily intended.
