02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The principal purpose of the Trust is to give contributions to deserving and indigent old gentlewomen in Dundee and Blairgowrie. It will also make payment to the Kirk of Session of St. Andrews Parish Church, Dundee, for distribution among poor persons in its congregations. It will also provide short term residence in Homes of Rest and make occasional donations to local charities in Dundee.
