What the charity exists to do
As a Church of Scotland, it exists to glorify God and work for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom throughout the world. As a national church, it acknowledges a distinctive call and duty to bring the ordinances of religion to the people of every parish of Scotland through a territorial ministry. It cooperates with other churches in various ecumenical bodies in Scotland and beyond. Activities include services of worship, civic events, fundraising events for both local and national charities, outreach to the members of the congregation and to those in the wider parish.
