Constitutional objectives
The Association is established solely for charitable purposes within the Netherburn Area and its environs and in particular for the following Objects: 1) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Netherburn area and environs without distinctions of political, religious or other opinions by associating the inhabitants, voluntary organisations and Local Authorities in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. 2) To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of the Hall for activities promoted by the Association and for the use of the inhabitants of the Netherburn area and environs (said purpose and objects being hereinafter referred to as 'the objects')
