02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Rotary Club of Lochaber charity is set up to findraise money to deliver a range of youth activities through events and competions such Youth Leadership, Young Muscian, Young Artist, Young Photographer, Young Poet. We also put on community events such as the Annual AM AM Golf Competition and Christmas Festival. All monies raised from our events and fundraising are used to deliver our youth activities and a small grants scheme where community groups and induvuduals can apply for grants up to £500, in addition we donate to Rotary initiatives abroad such as Shelterbox Water Aid and Eradication of Polio.
