02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life of children and adults with disabilities or additional support needs through the provision of therapeutic horse riding and equine-assisted activities. We provide safe, structured riding and carriage-driving sessions tailored to each participant’s individual abilities, supported by trained volunteers and qualified instructors. Our activities help to develop physical strength, balance, coordination and confidence, while also promoting emotional wellbeing, independence and social inclusion. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, we enable participants to experience achievement, enjoyment and connection that may not otherwise be accessible to them.
