Constitutional objectives
2.The Society’s objects are: i. To assist such of its members and their widows and widowers as may be reduced to necessitous circumstances. ii. To grant assistance to sons and daughters (in necessitous circumstances) of members or of deceased members of the Society (the purposes for which the Diamond Jubilee Fund” of the Society was established at a Special Meeting of the Society held on 1 November 1937). and iii. To contribute to such objects of a charitable nature or of the common weal as may be determined by the Directors of the Society, provided always that the list of any such Society to be presented to the members of the Society at the Annual General Meeting at the end of the financial year in which they are made.
