02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To act as a national advocacy body on behalf of kidney patients and kidney patient associations across Scotland. To promote kidney health using publicity and educational events as the Scottish Kidney Federation and on behalf of or in collaboration with kidney patient associations. To raise public awareness of kidney disease and to campaign for early detection, prompt intervention and better treatments. To promote research into improving the lives and the outcomes for kidney patients.

Constitutional objectives
2.Purpose To be: a collective voice for Kidney Patients Associations (KPA's) in Scotland. to liaise with third parties' on behalf of the KPA's in matters regarding the advancement of health and welfare. Assisting patients with finding the right help for their ill health, disabilities and financial restraint's, caused by their Kidney disease.
