02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Grampian Motor Training Trust is an organisation dedicated to the support of training and the development of staff within the motor industry in the North East of Scotland. It does so by providing financial assistance to organisations and individuals with specific training needs and by supporting and promoting training initiatives developed for the motor industry and those in its employment.

Constitutional objectives
To advance within the North-east of Scotland and, (if thought appropriate by the Trustees) elsewhere the theoretical and practical education and industrial training (in accordance with the principles of the Industrial Training Act 1982 and any like enactment or subordinate legislation implementing, extending, amending or replacing the same) for persons employed or intending to be employed in the motor industry or such other persons employed or intending to be employed in such other activities as may benefit from the educational and training services provided by the Trust and generally to further and (if applicable) supervise the education and training of such persons.
