02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity provides a safe environment for older adults living in the community to maintain their independence and continue to live at home for as long as is possible. We offer appropriate activities and services and provide transport to and from the day centre. We offer an outreach service for clients unable to attend which gives respite to carers. We are a client led service and the activities etc are provided from their own preferences and choices.

The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial or other disadvantage by 4.1 promoting and running services for older people 4.2 encouraging training for those working with older people 4.3 bringing together representatives of statutory bodies, voluntary organisations and individuals with an interest in the welfare of older people 4.4 making representation on behalf of older people 4.5 making available information to, for and on behalf of older people
