02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to provide a safe space for the local community to use for both a social aspect to build community relations and for practicing faith. The charity is working with local communities to support mental health, older generation and integration for many different vulnerable people. it acts as a source of support and community gathering to provide guidance and help for many of those who are not aware - linking in with the local community officers.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Centre shall be promtion and advancement of the Muslim Faith in the Fife area and as ancillary thereto the following subsidiary purposes:- (a) The acquisition of land or buildings for the purpose of erecting a Mosque. (b) The maintenance and administration of any such Mosque(s) so acquired so long as they shall remain places of worship, or for the teaching and better understanding of the Muslim Faith. (c) The holding of such meetings which may from time to time be desirable for the provision of meeting halls and other amenities necessary for the promotion and advancement of Muslim Faith. (d) The raising of such funds as may be necessary for the attainment of any or all of the above mentioned objects. (e) The Centre is a non-profit making body and accordingly all income shall be applied exclusively to the objects thereof. (f) To arrange religious education for Muslim children. (g) To observe and organise religious and Pakistan National days and such other community functions in particular to promote goodwill for the Muslims. (h) To look after the general welfare, and preserve and promote fraternity among Pakistanis.
