02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We maintain the building of Ardgay Public Hall, manage bookings and events for fund raising and community purposes. We do this by holding regular meetings of the committee and volunteers to discuss fund raising options and events and building management needs.

Constitutional objectives

The SCIO will promote, advance and further charitable purposes and in that regard the assets of the SCIO have been dedicated and shall continue to be held for the purposes of physical and mental training and recreation, and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of education and recreation facilities, lectures, classes, recreation or otherwise as may be found expedient of the inhabitants of said Parish of Kincardine and Croick, without distinction of or of political, religious or other opinions subject to the provisions of these presents.
