02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The objectives of the charity are to maintain and let the village hall for social, recreational and educational purposes for the local community. Our activities are about promoting the availability of the hall for as many activities as possible and maintaining the hall to such condition that it is an attractive venue for activities, weddings and family celebrations. The hall is currently seeking grant funding to support improved insulation and subsequent installation of solar panels and battery storage to support both a reduction in cost and carbon footprint.
