What the charity exists to do

The 1970 Trust is set up to support small UK charities that are working to support disadvantaged minorities and promote public interest in the face of vested interests. It does so by making small annual grants to these UK charities.

Constitutional objectives

The Trustees shall hold manage and administer the Trust Estate as a Charitable Trust for the purpose of making such donations subscriptions or grants or payments from the income and if thought fit also from the capital for charitable purposes within the meaning of the Income Tax Acts or to such bodies or organisations established for charitable purposes only.
