Constitutional objectives

a. To receive and administer donations, legacies, contributions and others and to apply the same according to these objects, and generally to continue the work of Holyrood Conclave of the Order of the Crusaders begun in Edinburgh in 1929, and as subsequently undertaken by Edinburgh and South East Scotland Blood Transfusion Association as previously constituted, by promoting the interests of voluntary donors of blood and voluntary helpers. b. To provide comforts and amenities for or on behalf of blood donors and others giving or who have given voluntarily of their time and services or otherwise in the interest of the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service. c. To maintain a happy relationship between the Service and blood donors and voluntary helpers, and to foster good public relations generally. d. To further the conduct of research in blood transfusion or the use of blood products in the treatment of disease when finance is not available from other sources. e. To do anything conductive or incidental to the attainment of all or any of the above Objects.
