Constitutional objectives
2. The purpose of the Association shall be charitable, namely to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Musselburgh and its environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, the objects of the Association being: (a) The advancement of education in the area of benefit (b) The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for those people living and working in area of benefit (c) The advancement of citizenship and community development in the area of benefit
